After six games on the road, Oklahoma School for the Deaf is heading back home. They will take on the Mill Creek Bullfrogs at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf posted their closest victory yet this season on Saturday. They skirted past Illinois School for the Deaf 52-50.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was RyJan Reininger out in front who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. Reininger hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Russell Fewel, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Mill Creek can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest last Thursday. They breezed by Milburn on the road to the tune of 67-13. The victory was some much needed relief for Mill Creek as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Mill Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf was taken down by Mill Creek 55-28 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Oklahoma School for the Deaf was down 42-15.
