The Lowellville Rockets had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Western Reserve 32-7. The victory was nothing new for Lowellville as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Santino Rivera-ocasio was a one-man wrecking crew for Lowellville as he rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. Michael Ballone also helped out as he racked up 113 rushing yards.
Lowellville's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Western Reserve, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3.
Lowellville will take on Danville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Danville is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Western Reserve does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
