The Highland Hornets lost against the Westbrook Wildcats back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Highland was dealt a 67-18 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Highland has scored all season.
Parker Matlock was nothing short of spectacular for Westbrook: he scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Matlock has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Gilbreath, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Highland has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Westbrook, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland will square off against the Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westbrook, they will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
