After flying high against the Koyuk Malimiut Malemutes on Saturday, the White Mountain Wolves came back down to earth. White Mountain took a 88-76 hit to the loss column at the hands of Anthony Andrews on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Saturday (67), White Mountain still had to take the loss.
When it comes to explaining why White Mountain lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kaden Adams. Despite the final result, he scored 31 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Adams has scored all season. Keanan Barr was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
White Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Anthony Andrews, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
White Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Anthony Andrews and Koyuk Malimiut will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The timing isn't great for Koyuk Malimiut: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Anthony Andrews has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
