Despite the defeat, Calvary Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Taryn Wakefield scored 15 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Camryn Kanell, who scored four points along with ten rebounds.
Calvary Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Pine Crest, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
