St. John's Prep proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 29) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings, sneaking past 65-62. The Red Storm haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

St. John's Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for St. Joseph-by-the-Sea, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, St. John's Prep will take on St. Edmund Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Red Storm their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for St. Joseph-by-the-Sea, they will face off against Moore Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
