On Friday, Mercy School Institute earned a 63-50 win over Trinity.
Leading Mercy School Institute to victory were Hannan Ashraf and Ziyam A Khan. Ashraf scored 16 points, while Khan scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Khan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayyan W Salous, who scored no points along with eight steals.
Mercy School Institute is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Trinity, they bumped their record down to 5-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mercy School Institute will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity, they will be playing at home against Dove Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
