Volleyball Recap: Summer Creek Wins Going Away Against Clear Falls

Summer Creek had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 5-7 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Clear Falls Knights. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

As for Clear Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9. They haven't had much luck with Summer Creek recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Clear Falls saw an underclassman step up: freshman Cabrina Vanderford had four aces and three digs.

Coming up, Summer Creek will welcome Stratford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clear Falls, they will head out on the road to challenge Fort Bend Elkins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
