The Northwest Christian School Crusaders suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Colfax by a score of 66-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (59), Northwest Christian School still had to take the loss.
Northwest Christian School lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ben Slade, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avi West, who scored 19 points.
Northwest Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Colfax, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest Christian School will take on Asotin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Asotin is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Colfax, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Davenport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Davenport will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Colfax is ranked 15th).
