The Keyser Golden Tornado were the 44-27 winner over the Washington Patriots when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. Keyser took a 71-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Washington. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (60), Keyser still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Keyser had strong showings from Noah Broadwater, who scored 20 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 assists, and Patrick Liller, who scored 23 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Drew Matlick, who scored 7 points.
Keyser's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Keyser will head out on the road to face off against Mountain Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington, they will be playing at home against South Hagerstown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
