This season hasn't been kind to Abundant Life Academy, who are still winless after their eighth match. They fell 38-26 to Harmony Christian on Thursday. Abundant Life Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harmony Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Abundant Life Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Analissa Bravo, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Valentina Fernandez, who scored four points.
Abundant Life Academy bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Harmony Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.
Abundant Life Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Lacordaire Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harmony Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
