Layton Logan was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaden Denton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Carsen Stegall, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
