San Perlita enjoyed a cozy 66-51 victory over San Isidro on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as San Perlita also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Despite the loss, San Isidro still got an impressive performance from Edward Garcia, who scored 33 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Garcia has scored all season. Larry Ramos was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
San Isidro struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They are 1-3 when they just don't pass the ball.
San Perlita pushed their record up to 14-8 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for San Isidro, their loss dropped their record down to 11-20.
San Perlita will head out on the road to face off against McMullen County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. San Perlita has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 272 points over their last four contests. As for San Isidro, they will be playing at home against Lasara at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully San Isidro focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
