There's no place like home for Trumbull, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the Wilton Warriors 13-3 on Friday. Considering the Eagles have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Trumbull pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Wilton, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Trumbull wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Bridgeport Central on the 28th. As for Wilton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-1 defeat against Danbury on the 28th.
