Langtree Charter's game  last Wednesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Corvian Community Cardinals  and snuck past  21-20. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Langtree Charter also won the last time the pair played  last Tuesday.
  Addison Longino was  incredible,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with three  stolen bases, four  runs,  and four  RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last five games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Jessie James, who  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-3.
 Langtree Charter has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a massive bump to their 6-11 record  this season. As for Corvian Community, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
 Langtree Charter will play host again  on Tuesday to welcome North Rowan, where first pitch is scheduled  at 4:00  p.m. Langtree Charter knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully North Rowan likes a good challenge. Corvian Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
