St. Michael the Archangel took their game at home with ease, bagging a 45-3 win over Wakefield Country Day. The win made it back-to-back wins for St. Michael the Archangel.
Leading St. Michael the Archangel to victory were Janaye Martinez and Anjalia Bryant . Martinez dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds, while Bryant dropped a double-double on 24 points and 10 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Martinez has scored at least 25% of St. Michael the Archangel's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Walston, who scored 4 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
The win got St. Michael the Archangel back to even at 2-2. As for Wakefield Country Day, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
St. Michael the Archangel will head out on the road to face off against King Abdullah Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Wakefield Country Day won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mountain View Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully Mountain View Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Saturday.
