St. Francis has gone 9-1 against Monticello recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. In other batting news, Myana Kiser was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Hailey Ausland also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
St. Francis always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Cambridge-Isanti hit Monticello with a eight-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Magic lost 14-4 to the Bluejackets.
Taylor Marcus made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Dahlke, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
St. Francis' record is now 10-8. As for Monticello, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
