Northside put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Yates Lions get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Tristen Garcia was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, Adan Gallegos was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Conner Amos was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Northside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .556. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .433 or higher in six consecutive games.

Northside pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Yates, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Northside will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
