Yucaipa won the last time they faced Citrus Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Thunderbirds came out on top against the Blackhawks by a score of 7-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunderbirds.

Brooklyn Dent looked comfortable as she pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Janelle Erickson was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in February. Makenna Pettey was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Yucaipa hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive contests.

Yucaipa's record is now 10-7. As for Citrus Valley, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-7.

Yucaipa wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Beaumont on the 10th. As for Citrus Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-7 victory against Redlands on the 10th.
