The Dymally Challengers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 82-33 victory over Port of Los Angeles. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Dymally has managed all season.
Dymally's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amonte Mobley led the charge by scoring 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mobley has scored all season. Nyzear Hamby was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Dymally is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for Port of Los Angeles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dymally won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cathedral at 1:00 p.m. on January 13th. Port of Los Angeles' road trip will continue as they head out to face Locke at 4:30 p.m. on January 17th. Locke knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Port of Los Angeles likes a good challenge.
