Columbus East (Columbus, Ind.) extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 54-6 victory over Madison (Ind.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by
Maurice Dantzler in the first quarter, the Olympians led 41-6 at the half.
Columbus East grew its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. CE's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run.
Madison's only touchdown came on a pass in the second quarter.
The Columbus school came into the game allowing 12.7 points per game.
A 54-8 Columbus East victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Madison, who notched a 55-38 victory over Seymour in its previous outing. The loss broke Madison's two-game winning streak.
