Lakeview suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Reed City, falling 70-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lakeview has scored all season.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 46-11, which was the final score in Crossroads Charter Academy's tilt against Mesick on Monday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Crossroads Charter Academy in their matchups with Mesick: they've now lost seven in a row.
Crossroads Charter Academy got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Donny Guernsey and
Alex Erturk, who each put up three points. Erturk also led the team in rebounds with seven.
Lakeview has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Crossroads Charter Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
