The O'Fallon Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Mascoutah Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. O'Fallon will aim to continue their five-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
O'Fallon is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 20-1 margin over East St. Louis on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Kennedy Clark made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Clark was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Ali Frickleton was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three RBI and two runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Haylee Williams was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four runs.
O'Fallon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .641. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Mascoutah hadn't done well against Triad recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Indians beat the Knights by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-3. The win was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on four straight.
Faith Moore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jaila Moore, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
O'Fallon's record is now 12-15. As for Mascoutah, their record now sits at 12-7.
Monday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. O'Fallon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. However, it's not like Mascoutah struggles in that department as they've averaged .362. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
