Elizabeth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jah'nae Lembrick led the charge by scoring 17 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexandra Koon, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
Hillsborough's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7. As for Elizabeth, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.
Hillsborough was able to grind out a solid victory over Elizabeth in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, winning 65-56. Does Hillsborough have another victory up their sleeve, or will Elizabeth turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
