Valley Forge lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cloe Rzeczycki, who scored five points along with four blocks. Kallie Yeager was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds.
Holy Name found their leader in underclassman Claire Coljohn, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 19 rebounds. Coljohn has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Layla Rudolph, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Valley Forge dropped their record down to 2-19 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Holy Name, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.
Valley Forge will look to defend their home court on Monday against Wellington at 1:30 p.m. Wellington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
