Grace Christian and Glenmora are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Grace Christian has eight straight wins, Glenmora has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday, Grace Christian got the win against Vidalia by a conclusive 15-1. Considering the Warriors have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Sydney Avery, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rory Decker, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Grace Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. The last time their OBP was this high was in their last ten contests.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Glenmora and Oak Hill had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wildcats came up short against the Rams on Tuesday, falling 11-1.
Avery Fuller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Grace Christian pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Glenmora, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Grace Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361. However, it's not like Glenmora struggles in that department as they've averaged .334. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Grace Christian took their victory against Glenmora when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
