After flying high against Carl Hayden Community last Wednesday, Browne came back down to earth. Browne fell just short of Cesar Chavez by a score of 2-1. Browne was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cesar Chavez apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Browne's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Cesar Chavez, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-11.
Browne will head out on the road to face off against Camelback at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cesar Chavez, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Maricopa at 6:00 p.m. Maricopa is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
