Cathedral faced Westfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Fighting Irish came out on top against the Shamrocks by a score of 2-0. The Fighting Irish haven't had any issues with the Shamrocks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Cathedral's offense was headlined by Owen Peterson and Jaden Greenwell, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Nick Whitley and his 27 assists.

Cathedral's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Westfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-7.

Cathedral wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Fishers on the 10th. As for Westfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Southport on the 10th.
