 Williams' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Cavion Stokes led the charge by  going 9 of 13  to rack up 22  points and six  assists. The dominant performance gave  Stokes a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was  Jaeden Smith, who  had 16  points.
This is the second loss in a row for Providence Grove and  nudges their season record down to 10-12. Their recent woes sure aren't a result of their performance when it comes to  three-point shooting accuracy: their  three-point shooting accuracy was 45.5% in those games and 26.6% outside of them. As for Williams, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 9-13.
 Providence Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  71-54  win against Wheatmore on the 11th. As for Williams, they will face off against Cedar Ridge at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Williams is facing Cedar Ridge at the right time seeing as Cedar Ridge is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
