The Nordheim Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 94-54 loss at the hands of Taft.
It was another big night for Jordan Villalobos, who shot 4-for-11 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 54 points and ten rebounds for Taft. The game was Villalobos' tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of David Davis, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Nordheim's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-9. As for Taft, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-9.
Nordheim's road trip will continue as they head out to face Runge at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. As for Taft, they will be playing at home against San Isidro at 1:15 p.m. on Friday.
