Indian Creek is on a 12-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Mooresville is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Indian Creek Braves will welcome the Mooresville Pioneers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.
If Indian Creek beats Mooresville with 51 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Indian Creek strolled past Speedway with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 51-37. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Sparkplugs are ranked 308th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jasmine Day went supernova for Indian Creek, going 6 of 9 on her way to 18 points along with seven assists and six boards. The dominant performance gave Day a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Sichting, who posted five points in addition to 12 boards and five assists.
Day wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Indian Creek was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Speedway only racked up ten assists.
Meanwhile, Mooresville's game on Thursday was all tied up 23-23 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 53-41 win over Franklin Community.
Indian Creek better keep an eye on Randee Garringer. She was instrumental in Mooresville's win, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards. Garringer is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Shafer, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 15 points.
Mooresville is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for Indian Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Indian Creek has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Mooresville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.1 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Indian Creek didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Mooresville in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 55-51 win. Does Indian Creek have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mooresville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
