Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Howard Rivers, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rivers has scored all season. Zaki Parham was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy pushed their record up to 8-5 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Madison Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy and Holy Spirit Prep will face off on January 17th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Madison Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th.
