Maynard typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Marked Tree proved too difficult a challenge. They breezed by the Maynard Tigers to the tune of 48-20. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Marked Tree's third in a row) raised their record to 20-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.3 points. As for Maynard, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-8 record.

Marked Tree won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sloan-Hendrix at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sloan-Hendrix will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Marked Tree surely won't give up without a fight. As for Maynard, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Maynard Tigers take on the Corning Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
