While it was all tied up 20-20 at halftime, the Lone Jack Mules were not quite the Crest Ridge Cougars's equal in the second half on Thursday. Lone Jack took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crest Ridge. Lone Jack was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Crest Ridge apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Despite the loss, Lone Jack still got an impressive performance from Quintin Miller, who scored 16 points along with 3 blocks. Miller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last four games he's played. Garrett Mantzey was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Lone Jack's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Crest Ridge, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Lone Jack's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sweet Springs. Sweet Springs will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 311th, while Lone Jack is ranked 144th). As for Crest Ridge, they will be playing at home against St. Paul Lutheran on Saturday.
