Herscher's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
Herscher skirted past Gardner-South Wilmington 49-47 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Herscher since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
