Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Alex Messer stepped things up a notch to give Duval Charter the 'W'. Messer pitched 0.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The performance marked the fewest hits he has had since back in April of 2024. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Messer and Duval Charter will challenge Harvest Community at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Messer has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 0.8 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Warriors have only allowed 7.2 per game this season.
