For the second straight game, North Iredell will face off against East Lincoln. The Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Iredell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

North Iredell took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand East Lincoln a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Raiders have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Xavier Burgess was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Barnette, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

North Iredell's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for East Lincoln, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.

Both North Iredell and East Lincoln just can't seem to miss. The Raiders have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.3 hits per game. However, it's not like East Lincoln struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.5 hits.
