AAA Region 4 recap November 13, 2013
Callaway added to the longest winning streak in AAA Region 4 this week by beating Rockmart, 47-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Cavaliers.
Chapel Hill made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,199 from 6,737. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 34-12 victory over Jackson last week.
Deshawn Waller was a passing and rushing force as Business Engineering Science Tech topped Douglass. Waller's favorite target this week was CHRISTOPHER SEABORN, who caught 4 passes for 108 yards.
SEABORN was the best receiver in the league this week as the Eagles beat the Astros. SEABORN tallied 4 receptions for 108 yards.
The Jaguars' Keenan Moore and Orenzo Smith led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Moore has thrown for 2,636 yards this season, while Smith has 50 catches for 1,236 yards. Business Engineering Science Tech's Waller leads the league in rushing yards with 1,470.
Joshua Moore's team led AAA Region 4 in scoring this week by notching 48 points on Douglass. Waller ran for 199 yards in the win.
