They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Rush City 58-55. Milaca's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Milaca to victory were Colin Marudas and Brock Talberg. Marudas scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Talberg scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Landon Hasz was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Milaca's victory bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Rush City, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
