There's no place like home for the Splendora Wildcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Big Sandy by a score of 53-44 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Splendora, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Justin Kelley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with four steals. The game was his 21st in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydn McNeely, who scored eight points along with seven assists.
Splendora's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Big Sandy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
Splendora will head out on the road to face off against Hardin-Jefferson at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Hardin-Jefferson will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Big Sandy, they will be playing at home against Lumberton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
