Tuscarora is 9-1 against South Hagerstown since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Tuscarora Titans will head out on the road to face off against the South Hagerstown Rebels at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses dating back to last season for Tuscarora and 17 for South Hagerstown dating back to last season.
Last Tuesday, Tuscarora came up short against Century and fell 49-37. Tuscarora has struggled against Century recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Janae Morrison, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Laney Barton, who scored three points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, South Hagerstown ended up a good deal behind North Hagerstown on Friday and lost 36-20.
Tuscarora's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Hagerstown, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-3.
Tuscarora came out on top in a nail-biter against South Hagerstown in their previous matchup back in February, sneaking past 40-38. Does Tuscarora have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Hagerstown turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
