The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for South Plaquemines in their matchups with Phoenix: they've now lost four in a row.
Phoenix's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Da'cora Burton led the charge by scoring 13 points. Aniyah Graham was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
South Plaquemines bumped their record down to 3-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Phoenix, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
