Purvis' win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lillee Crider, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Crider has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Breleigh Adkins, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Lamar Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Purvis, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.
Lamar Christian skirted past Purvis 50-47 when the teams last played back in December of 2023.
