After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plainview-Elgin-Millville, the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against St. Charles by a score of 58-49. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Wabasha-Kellogg's 21-point performance the contest before.
Ileana DeAngel was on fire: she dropped a triple-double on 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Wabasha-Kellogg's points. Another player making a difference was Brielle Adams, who scored 13 points.
Wabasha-Kellogg's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for St. Charles, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Wabasha-Kellogg will head out on the road to face off against Schaeffer Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Charles, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dover-Eyota at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
