If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Gloucester. On Friday they take on Saugus at Gloucester HS at 7:00 PM. Gloucester are coming into the match hot, having won four in a row.
Gloucester didn't have too many spare points in their matchup with Lynn Classical last Friday, but they still walked away with a 26-22 victory.
Saugus came within a touchdown against Lynn English, but wound up with a 35-42 loss.
The last time the two teams met, Gloucester won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Saugus 26-25. Will Gloucester repeat their success, or does Saugus have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
