Meanwhile, Ursuline got the win against Jackson-Milton on Monday by a conclusive 14-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Irish.
Like Brunswick, Ursuline also got a great game from a two-way player: Emma Davies. She tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Ursuline's record now sits at 9-3. As for Brunswick, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Brunswick hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .328. However, it's not like Ursuline struggles in that department as they've averaged .335. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
