The Logan Grizzlies will head out to take on the Green Canyon Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Logan is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Ridgeline just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Riverhawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Grizzlies have suffered since March 9, 2024.
The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-14.
Meanwhile, Green Canyon entered their tilt with West Field on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Longhorns.
Green Canyon walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 25-11.
Logan better focus on containing Cameron Henrie and Keaton Crosbie as the pair were huge in Green Canyon's win. Henrie had three digs and two aces, while Crosbie had 13 digs, eight kills, three aces, and one block. Crosbie has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last seven times he's played. David White also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
Logan's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. As for Green Canyon, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-5.
Everything went Logan's way against Green Canyon when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Logan made off with a 3-0 win. Does Logan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Green Canyon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
