In what's become a running theme this season, the Front Range Baptist Falcons gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. Everything went their way against Union Colony Prep as Front Range Baptist made off with a 70-50 win. The score was close at the half, but Front Range Baptist pulled away in the second half with 36 points.
Benjamin VanDenBerghe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alex Prelog, who scored 14 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Several Timberwolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jesiah Chairez, who scored 17 points along with four steals. Chairez is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Sarchet, who scored 16 points.
Union Colony Prep struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Front Range Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Union Colony Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Front Range Baptist will head out on the road to take on Denver Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Front Range Baptist focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
