Fairhope is 8-2 against Foley since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Fairhope Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Foley Lions at 7:15 p.m.

Fairhope is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering McGill-Toolen just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Pirates couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Foley can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Mobile Christian 3-2.

Fairhope's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Foley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10-2.

Fairhope beat Foley 2-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Fairhope repeat their success, or does Foley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
