The Kanab Cowboys can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Water Canyon 83-25 on the road. The win was nothing new for Kanab as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Leading Kanab to victory were Savannah Bateman and Rylee Little. Bateman scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, while Little dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Little is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 17 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Haven Syrett, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Kanab's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.9 points per game. As for Water Canyon, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Kanab will be playing at home against Millard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kanab knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully Millard likes a good challenge. As for Water Canyon, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Parowan at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Parowan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Thursday.
